Summer 2025’s most Exciting STEM Adventure! This summer Luna Kids Care will help your middle or high school aged kid dive into the exciting world of drone soccer! Campers will build their own drone, learn to fly, and practice teamwork in preparation for our end of year Drone Soccer Tournament where teams can showcase their engineering skills, gamesmanship, and strategy. Summer Day Camps
Luna Kids Care summer camp in Colorado Springs delivers a comprehensive day camp experience that keeps children actively engaged while supporting their development. Our summer camps incorporate special guests, outdoor adventures, and creative projects that make each day at summer camp unique and exciting for your child.
Your child's day with us flows through a thoughtfully designed schedule balancing active play, creative exploration, and learning. After morning drop-off and welcome activities, children participate in Camp Code, an icebreaker that sets the day's positive tone and lays out our rules and expectations. The daily schedule includes three exciting club sessions throughout the day, two nutritious snack breaks, lunch time, and plenty of outdoor play. We incorporate quiet time for recharging, fitness activities for healthy movement, and social-emotional learning to build important life skills, creating a day that's structured enough for security yet flexible enough for fun and discovery until pickup time.
Field Trips and Special Events include guest presenters, theme days like Petting Zoo or Water Day, talent shows, and culminating projects like our end of summer Drone Soccer Tournament! Luna Kids Care summer camp programs are thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs and interests of different age groups, ensuring appropriate challenges and engagement for all campers. Each summer camp age group enjoys dedicated spaces and age-specific activities while still having opportunities to interact across ages during certain summer camp events and projects. Our staff are trained to understand the unique characteristics of each developmental stage, creating experiences that help children build skills and confidence throughout their summer camp journey.
Elementary Summer Camp
Elementary Summer Camp
Our elementary summer camp provides the perfect blend of structure, exploration, and fun for children ages 5-11. Summer camp activities for this age group include hands-on projects, nature exploration, creative arts, sports, and cooperative games that build fundamental skills. Elementary summer camp participants benefit from our C.A.R.E. approach that supports their growing independence while providing the guidance they need to navigate social relationships and new experiences.
Summer Camp for Middle Schoolers
Middle school summer camp participants enjoy increased input into their daily activities while benefiting from the supervision and structure that creates a safe, positive environment. Our program for ages 12-14 includes more advanced projects, leadership opportunities, and age-appropriate challenges that respect their growing maturity. Middle schoolers appreciate the balance between structured activities and social time, making our program a perfect alternative to staying home alone during summer break.
Summer Camp for Teens
Our teen summer camp offers leadership roles, community service opportunities, and more advanced activity options that appeal to older participants. By summer’s end, teens who contribute to camp activities will earn a certificate and a formal letter documenting their experience for future opportunities. Our inclusive summer camp environment is designed to accommodate teens with special needs, with trained staff who understand how to support exceptional learners in each age group’s activities. Summer Camp Prices
2025 Summer camp registration is now open! Register your child for just $49 per summer! Summer camps are available at multiple locations for $45 dollars per day.
Required Documents
Completing your summer camp registration requires standard documentation to ensure your child’s safety and appropriate care. Required documents include emergency contact information, health records including immunizations, authorized pickup persons, and any special care instructions your child may need. Most summer camp documentation can be conveniently uploaded and managed through the Kidlet platform.
Flexible Attendance Options
Luna Kids Care understands that summer schedules vary, which is why we allow you to schedule or cancel care up to the day before with no added fees. Same day care is available with the additional Drop in fee of $5 per child.
